Property Surveyor
Salary: £45,000 - £50,000 (pro-rata)
Location: London (Hybrid Working Available)
Duration: 3-6 Months Fixed Term Contract (Full Time – 35 hours/week)
We are partnering with a reputable, registered housing provider across London who is currently seeking a Property Surveyor for a fixed-term contract (3-6 months). This exciting opportunity offers a competitive salary between £45,000 - £50,000 and provides the flexibility of hybrid working, with the role based out of regional offices across London.
Key Responsibilities:
Produce reports for internal and external audits using relevant asset management data
Manage major works contracts, including planned maintenance, cyclical works, and scaffolding programmes
Prepare specifications, tender documents, and contract packages
Oversee contractors and consultants to ensure projects meet contractual requirements
Conduct regular site inspections to monitor quality and progress
Manage budgets and track spend against project plans
Maintain accurate project records and report progress to internal stakeholders
About You:
Proven experience in delivering planned maintenance, cyclical works, and scaffolding projects, preferably within housing
Strong contract management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Knowledge of procurement processes and the ability to prepare specifications
Ideally professionally qualified (RICS, CIOB, etc.) or working towards a relevant qualification
Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
