Permanent or Temporary | Full Time (37 hours per week)

Rate: £25 - £30 per hour (Depending on Experience)

Salary: £32,597 – £36,363 per annum

An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Housing Policy, Performance and Complaints Officer to join a public sector housing service on a permanent or a temporary basis.

The successful candidate will support the delivery and continuous improvement of housing services by leading on the development and review of policies, strategies and procedures. You will play a key role in collecting and analysing performance data, enabling the service to monitor outcomes and drive improvement. In addition, you will oversee and administer the housing complaints function, ensuring effective and timely resolution.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Research, develop and review housing policies, strategies and procedures

  • Collect, analyse and report on performance data across housing services

  • Support service improvement through evidence-based recommendations

  • Manage and administer the housing complaints process

  • Communicate complex information clearly to a range of stakeholders

Essential Requirements:

  • Degree (or equivalent) in a relevant subject

  • Knowledge of current housing issues and social housing

  • Experience in policy development, performance management or complaints handling

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work flexibly

  • Strong analytical and communication skills

  • Highly motivated, organised and able to work independently
