An ambitious provider of housing on the South Coast is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the delivery of a significant Centre Remodelling and Change Management Project.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an accomplished professional with a proven track record in office relocation and workplace transformation projects, ideally within the public sector. You’ll play a key role in shaping a modern, efficient, and flexible working environment that supports evolving organisational needs and future ways of working.
The Role
As Project Manager, you’ll take ownership of the end-to-end delivery of a large-scale office remodelling project — from design and space planning through to stakeholder engagement, change management, and successful handover.
Your responsibilities will include:
Project Delivery: Lead and coordinate all stages of the Centre remodelling and relocation project.
Design & Space Planning: Review and adapt office layouts using CAD software to create efficient and collaborative workspaces.
Stakeholder Engagement: Work closely with staff, contractors, and service partners to ensure alignment and effective communication.
Change Management: Drive cultural and operational change to embed new ways of working and ensure staff are engaged throughout the transition.
Programme & Budget Control: Monitor progress against timelines, costs, and resources, ensuring delivery within agreed parameters.
Health, Safety & Compliance: Oversee all activities in line with health and safety requirements and organisational standards.
Reporting: Provide clear updates and progress reports to senior leaders and elected members.
About You
You’ll be a hands-on project manager with:
Proven experience delivering complex office relocation or workplace remodelling projects, ideally with a background in housing..
Proficiency in CAD software and an ability to interpret and adapt office layout designs.
Strong change management and stakeholder engagement skills.
A solid understanding of construction, property, and facilities management principles.
Excellent communication, organisation, and problem-solving abilities.
Availability to work on-site as required throughout the duration of the project.
